Something odd is happening with Google search results counts

Something is going on with Google showing or not showing the number
of results for queries. It's not certain to me whether this is an
experiment, how it might be tied to being logged in or not logged in,
or perhaps being in the AI experiment groups. Or some combination.

But as you can see from these two screenshots, logged in I'm no longer
getting a count of results, and not logged in (Incognito) I do.

And this sucks, because that count is important, especially for
uncommon searches.
