The AI "status quo" won't work
I'm trying to come up with a solution other than "universal opt-in" to
avoid the problems inherent in generative AI training based on website
crawling. So far I can't find an acceptable alternative. I find this
depressing, because I want AI to do as much good in the world as
possible. But the status quo is utterly untenable. -L
