Addendum: Emergency Alert System test + Hawaii "missile attack"
Adding that the nationwide federal brain trust-approved
Emergency Alert Test is supposed to run from approx
2:20PM EDT to 2:50PM EDT, today.
Hey, remember some years ago when an alert went out in Hawaii
claiming that an incoming ballistic missile attack was in
progress and that this was NOT A DRILL!
Yeah, it took more than half an hour to get out a cancel message
on that one. OOPS!
No wonder most people ignore most phone notifications, given all the
spam, phishing attacks, and all the rest. -L
