More on Google passkeys

To be clear, there's nothing inherently wrong with the concept of
passkeys -- IF implemented properly. The problem is that Google's
specific implementation sucks so badly and puts so many users at risk,
and that combined with their horrific account recovery procedures that
lock so many innocent users away from their data permanently, is a
recipe for many already disadvantaged non-techie users to be even
further shafted. -L
