More "The Outer Limits" on YouTube
The full first season of the original classic "The Outer Limits" has
been appearing on YouTube Movies & TV over the last 24 hours or so,
joining the second season that arrived a day or so earlier (as I
previously posted). The entire '63-'65 series now -- for the moment --
is apparently available for free officially on YouTube, at least in
the U.S.
The debut episode (S1 E1) "The Galaxy Being" tells the story of a
radio engineer who makes contact with a distant alien who accidentally
doesn't stay distant. It also features a dialogue about the nature of
life and death and God that would probably never be permitted on
network television today. And we also get to see the origin of the
series' uber-recognizable oscilloscope pattern.
