On my radio segment tonight, discussing Congress banning Chinese tech
Tonight on my usual Monday evening national network tech segment, I'll
be briefly discussing the insane bipartisan "ban" of TikTok (good
chance that would be knocked down in the courts) and efforts to ban
drone maker DJI, which make no sense given the lack of evidence of
wrongdoing by China in these regards, the vast use of DJI drones for
public safety, agriculture, and other critical applications, the
enormous amount of other Chinese-made equipment in use, and the known
enemies to privacy and personal data -- like Facebook! -- that are
U.S. home grown. Why are politicians in both parties banging this
drum? Follow the money! -L
