The daylight savings time debate is nuts

Around 2019, Trump said he was fine with permanent daylight savings time. Now
he and Musk
say they want to end it.

Then the Senate voted one day (with essentially no debate) to make it permanent
here (which
is as far as it went, there was no similar vote in the House).

But the science says permanent daylight savings time -- which some countries
have now chosen --
is unhealthy since it's out of sync with biological clocks.

Permanent daylight savings time was tried as a test during the Nixon administration, but ended even before the scheduled "end of test" date due to accidents in the early morning darkness, especially
in some parts of the country.

The bottom line is that politicians are blowing like weeds on this and have NO
damned clue
what they are talking about - AS USUAL. It gets worse and worse. We are ruled
by IDIOTS.
