Cal Worthington, his "dog" Spot, Trump, and Musk
For many, many years here in L.A. late night movies were the domain of used car
salesman
Cal Worthington, who became quite the local celebrity. His popular commercial
intro
was "Here's Cal Worthington and his dog Spot!" But Spot was pretty much any
animal
other than a dog, and locals came to actually enjoy these commercials.
I thought of this today as I saw Trump acting as Elon's "dog Spot" as Trump
promoted
Teslas on the White House lawn and was seen actually reading from a Tesla price
list.
Elon still has Donald on a tight leash. Woof! -L
