DJI launches new flagship drone -- pretty much everywhere EXCEPT in the U.S.
DJI has just launched a new flagship drone and advanced Android-based
RC controller -- pretty much everywhere but in the U.S. -- due
primarily to Trump tariffs and other concerns unique to the newly
fascist USA. They will not say when, or even if, this will change.
First responders and emergency services that might have saved lives
with this new drone will be left out as the rest of the world moves
forward with this new technology. DJI recommends against trying to
import from other countries, since there will be no warranty coverage
for such units. I've seen a few U.S. retailers claiming to be selling
it or having it on preorder, but DJI tells me that as far as DJI is
concerned these products are NOT available in the U.S. at this time. -L
