Why ICBM missile defense is a scam
The fundamental problem with space-based systems designed to intercept
intercontinental ballistic missiles is that they are trivially easy to
defeat. All it takes is money and the will to do so. Adversaries can
knock out space resources before or during an attack, and overwhelm
them with more and more missiles. You fire 1000 missiles with say
three warheads each, and if only 5% get through, the target country is
still obliterated. Hell, if only 0.5% get through, you're still
talking many millions of deaths and infrastructure in ruins. -L
