Who is to blame for the AI nightmare?
I'm going to say this again. I do NOT blame Big Tech engineers for the
LLM/generative AI nightmare. I blame the Billionaire Big Tech CEOs who
have mostly aligned with fascist Trump for their own benefit, and have
caused many of their employees to cower in fear that if they don't
contribute enough to building and deploying the AI nightmare machines,
they'll be out on the street without jobs. Thing is, most of them will
be without jobs anyway in the fullness of time -- those CEOs will dump
them as soon as possible without batting an eye -- but you can't blame
these workers for holding on as long as they can. -L
