Precedent for ICE agent location app in Google Maps
The Trump administration is claiming that apps that crowdsource the
location of ICE agents are illegal. However, there seem to be
precedents easily discoverable for similar applications that
apparently are widely viewed as legal. In fact, Google Maps fairly
recently I believe broadened out their "speed traps" marker that users
could pin into a "police activity" marker. Is there an intrinsic
difference between a "police activity" marker and an "ICE agent"
marker? -L
