Dear all, I renamed RPM packages : pgadmin3-version.rpm pgadmin3-i18n-French-version.rpm pgadmin3-i18n-German-version.rpm pgadmin3-i18n-Japanese-version.rpm etc...
The main reason of this choice is that we may like to monitor downloads and split them country by country. Who really know where PostgreSQL is used. After 1000 dowloads by country, we will be able to provide very accurate statistics with a good error margin. Also, seperate packages give us the possibility to integrate the documentation easily. It wron't be difficult to maintain due to the nature of RPM. The main drawback is that some users may forget to download the language file... Therefore, we may also choose to provide one single pgAdmin3 RPM package including all .mo files, like we did before. And provide additionnal packages for the localised documentation when it exists. What do you vote for? Cheers, Jean-Michel ---------------------------(end of broadcast)--------------------------- TIP 6: Have you searched our list archives? http://archives.postgresql.org
