Issue resolved.
I didn't discover what was wrong but by uninstalling v5 & v6 again and
removing every pgAdmin file in ...Users\PAJ\AppData\ and re-installing,
v6 started OK.

There is a file for v4, but the timing shows it was when I was
trying to run v5 & v4 after finding that v6 would not run. Here

startup. Is there a detailed log I can turn on or do
