Hi Ray, Thanks very much. It has worked. I restarted the headnode and tried to connect and create new servers and it works just fine.

There's your problem - you need to give 138.250.104.229 permission to connect to the remote server by adding a suitable entry to pg_hba.conf - look up "Client authentication" in the PostgreSQL docs.
