There should be a close button on closable tabs, such as query tool or debugger instances. There is not on the un-closable ones though (Properties, SQL, Dashboard) etc. I don't need to log a feature request for this one though, as you can do what you want. If you put the mouse over the title text of the floating panel, the background colour will change slightly. Not at all - and it's nice to see our work appreciated. We want to make pgAdmin 4 as good as possible, and suggestions for features or changes that would make users workflows easier are most definitely welcome.
