Sure, I understand. I see that the svg-driver is part of pgf/tikz for which
you and Till Tantau also are the developers? That is where it should be
fixed it seems. g-nodes should never be child-notes of text-nodes.

By that you mean? I am currently writing a little script in Python that
hopefully is able to fix the label issues. Given that I have no experience
in TeX-programming it would probably take ten times as much time for me.
I'll send the python script over once it's done. If nothing else, it should
help others.
