See i.e. "netstat -tpna" to see the ports processes are listening on.
Also, "man ps" and "man netstat" could be interesting to you.
Thanks for the quick response. Already we check that pgpool open local
connections through UNIX sockets to handle the requests from clients.
On the iptables configuration we let open the 9898 and 9999 ports.
