r...@ubuntu:~# pgpool
r...@ubuntu:~# cat /var/run/pgpool/pgpool.pid
1010 r...@ubuntu:~#
r...@ubuntu:~# reboot

After reboot

u...@ubuntu:~$ sudo su -
[sudo] password for user:
r...@ubuntu:~# cd /var/run
r...@ubuntu:/var/run# ls
atd.pid            network       sendsigs.omit.d          utmp
crond.pid          postgresql    sshd                     watershed
crond.reboot       pppconfig     sshd.pid
dhclient.eth0.pid  rsyslogd.pid  sudo
motd               screen        upstart-udev-bridge.pid
r...@ubuntu:/var/run#

pgpool directory is deleted

Please help me.
