Thanks to those of you who took the time to write some suggestions to my
previous questions. It took me a bit further in the installation process.
Unfortunately not all the way. I think the problem is that gcc makes o32
objects and the linker expects n32 objects. E.g. I get this fatal error
when running gmake:
ld -r -o SUBSYS.o heaptuple.o
ld32: FATAL 12: Expecting n32 objects: heaptuple.o is o32.
heaptuple.o is built earlier in the make process so there is obviously some
inconsistencies in the make file, or what is going on here? Has noone else
had this kind of trouble?
