We are trying to install the postgresql-6.4.2 on a Linux. We have some
problem with the initdb.
This is the output we get:
[annal@localhost /]$ initdb --pgdata=/usr/local/pgsql/data
--pglib=/usr/local/pgsql/lib -t -u annal
updating template1 database only.
initdb: using /usr/local/pgsql/lib/local1_template1.bki.source as
input to cre the template database.
We are initializing the database system with username annal (uid=500).
The users will own all the files and must also own the server process.
initdb: creating template database in
/usr/local/pgsql/data/base/template1
Running: postgres -boot -C -F -D/usr/local/pgsql/data -Q template1
syntax error 2305 : parse error
vacuuming template1
creating public pg_user view
mv: /usr/local/pgsql/data/base/template1/exp_user: No such file or
directory
loading pg_description
