Perhaps this isn't a bug, but it just cost me an entire morning recreating tables by hand... I used pg_dumpall -z to dump my database before upgrading to 6.5, and the rebuilt database lost all the column defaults! Grrrrrrrrrr! Also, I found I had to use ALTER USER to make my password logins work, even though pg_shadow and pg_pwd seemed to be reloaded ok from the dump file. Otherwise it went well under Solaris 2.6 other than the postmaster -N 31 -B 62 limit I had to impose which I mentioned earlier; still haven't found out how to increase shareable memory under Solaris 2.6, I think it's non-trivial to say the least. 6.5 _seems_ faster, and so far it's stable, which has been more important.
