does any decent documentation exist for pg_ctl and postmaster.opts. i'm having many problems getting pg_ctl to read the postmaster.opts. has anybody else had similar problems. just doing the obvious, adding the options to data/postmaster.opts, doesn't seem to work. any ideas ... -john scott ....................................
