Hello folks,

I am in the process of building out a new server
for my domains. I recently (last night) compiled Apache
1.3.19 + mod_perl + mod_ssl + PHP 4.0.4p1 + mm + PostgreSQL
7.0.3.

My question: I will be installing PostgreSQL on a
separate machine, and because of the timeline (I'm shooting
for a May 1 rollout of the new machine), the database machine
should be running 7.1. Will I need to go through again and
recompile Apache/PHP with the new PostgreSQL support, or will
the 7.0.3 support be sufficient? I don't want to lose any
additional functionality, but if the API/etc hasn't changed
much, I can't see much of a problem.

If this has already been discussed, feel free to
point me to RTFM's. :) Thanks!

Benny
