Description: DataOne requires experienced developers with deep knowledge of development in the Linux environment. We build CRM solutions, delivered through a browser based interface. The developer must be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of software design and development methodologies. Developers will work as part of a matrixed team of users, designers and senior architects to deliver comprehensive solutions.  DataOne is part of a 22 year veteran company in the managed data business and will lead the way in new Linux development.

 

Required skills:

1. Three to five+ years application and development a Linux or Unix environment
2. Full life-cycle design with strong functional design skills
3. RDBM development skills also required, preferable Postgres
4. Three years+ development experience in a Linux or Unix environment using 
    -Perl/mod_perl 
    -Apache 
    -Postgres 
    -C/C++ with one of the above applications 
    -Zope

    -Linux/Unix system calls
5. Excellent written and communication skills a must
