Check your pg_hba.conf to make sure your allowing connections from
localhost. Also you may need to modify postgresql.conf to allow tcp/ip
socket connections as well.

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
    (send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
