Hi All , This is my first post to the list. We are wondering if any of you have successfully implemented the setting of the "noatime" attribute on an ext2 filesystem. Specifically to (try) reduce disk I/O on Postgres database files. We are looking to implement this on a server running postgres with (LVM). Does anyone know is this is SAFE to use.
