Hello!

we run on our PostgreSQL instanze a vaccum full and a reindex every night to
keep the db fast, our PostgreSQL version is 7.2.
It works fine but last night, the indexes were beeing destroyed. A query
returned the message:

Index <indexname> is not a btree

After dropping all indexes and creating them new everything works fine again.

Now my question is: Is this behaviour known? Is it a fixed bug in newer
versions?
Can you please reply to my emailadress beause I do not have the chance to read
the pgsql-admin mailing list all the time.
Thanks in advance.

We cant upgrade to 7.3 oder newer 7.2.x version so easily because the db must
be up all the time. Next time frame for an upgrade may be chrismas...
