After much thought, I think I did something lame with a PAM file 
somewhere a while back, causing root to use a passwd when su'ing. I'll 
look into it.

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
   (send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
