Not strictly on topic but I guess it is interesting for all of us anyway. I work doing consulting job for a company called DBA Engenharia de Sistemas that works as a contractor for a brazilian government project called "Cadastramento Único" which is a project to centralize all social-related government records into a single database.
This project has a program called "Cadastramento Único Offline" and the lasted version (version 6) has 2 components: A client and a server. The server part is simply a repackaged PostgreSQL 8.0.1 distribution and is being made available for Windows and Linux.
