## What is Talking Postgres?
[Talking Postgres with Claire Giordano](https://talkingpostgres.com) is a
monthly podcast where we talk about the human side of Postgres, databases, and
open source. Previously called “Path To Citus Con”, each of the 17 episodes
published so far includes 1 or 2 amazing guests from the Postgres world. As for
the new Talking Postgres name, it’s been called “a sensible move”, “a great
name”, and “more fitting”—since the episodes are all about Postgres things.

+ Talking Postgres is available [via most podcast
apps](https://talkingpostgres.com/) and also [on
YouTube](https://aka.ms/TalkingPostgres-playlist).
+ Catch up on the past 17 episodes at
[talkingpostgres.com](https://talkingpostgres.com).
+ You can also [subscribe](https://talkingpostgres.com/subscribe) to make sure
you never miss an episode. And yes, there is an RSS feed on the subscribe page.

## Podcast is recorded LIVE on Discord

Usually on the 1st or 2nd Wednesday of the month, we record the podcast *live*
on Discord. So while most people download and listen to episodes after they are
published, you can also [join the live
recordings](https://aka.ms/TalkingPostgres-cal) on the [Microsoft Open Source
Discord](https://aka.ms/open-source-discord) to be part of the parallel live
text chat. The text chat is quite fun.
