There were discussions about improving string manipulation, adding shared memory for add-ins, and a continuing discussion about using compression to improve on-disk sorts. Alvaro Herrera committed two patches to autovacuum. The first makes a running autovacuum appear in the pg_stat_activity view, including the actual table it is currently working on. The other, from Larry Rosenman, adds four columns to the pg_stat_*_tables views, exposing the time at which vacuum and analyze were run for each table.
