Announcing the first alpha release of skit, a command line tool to extract schema definitions, perform diffs and generate ddl. Its aim is to allow database developers to place their database definitions into standard Source Code Management systems, and manage their database development the way they manage code development.
It is written in C and XML and is currently available only for Linux and Posix-compliant systems. It is free software, released under the GPL v3.
