pg_back 1.2 released Because sometimes you just need a simple way to dump all your databases, here is pg_back. It is a simple shell script to backup everything.
Though it works as is, the main goal of this script is to be a template script that anyone with some basics shell scripts skills can customize to fit their own needs. The 1.2 release now detects if it is running on a hot standby server and pauses the replication before dumping the databases. This way, pg_dump won't fail because of replication conflicts. pg_back is licensed under the classic 2 clauses BSD license.
