            if (pathtype != COERCION_PATH_FUNC &&

            {

                    elog(ERROR, "no conversion function from %s to %s",
                         format_type_be(typeid),

            }

I suspect this code needs to make an exception for ANYENUM as well, but
no time to look closely right now.
