I think this could be clearer. In particular, performance of COPY vs INSERT from a query (INSERT INTO ... SELECT FROM ...) or INSERT with a list of rows (INSERT INTO ... VALUES (), (), (), ...) Is there any performance benefit with COPY in those cases?
