PostgreSQL esta bajo la licencia BSD que es muy muy restrictiva, puedes vender postgresql, con o sin fuentes, puedes cambiarle el nombre, puedes redistribuirlo como software privado.... (y claro encontrar a alguien que quiera comprarte algo que de forma intrínseca es casi de dominio publico) solo debes respetar unos cuantos lineamientos (si estoy mal favor de corregirme).
