Hi Ed...
Well...I have installed 7.0b1 as well...and I'm using it personally...but I
can't recommend moving a project to a beta...
I don't want to have to do two migrations, as I'm already moving our system from
MySQL to postgres...so if I can wait a little while and move directly from MySQL
to a stable release of postgres directly, I will...otherwise I'll have to move
our data twice (admittedly, the second move should be much easier).
Now if only I could learn enough quickly to add set/getBinaryStream() support to
the JDBC driver...I'm fairly new to Java, too...
Maybe I should install b2 today...
Cheers, and thanks,
-philip

As soon as the QA teams (i.e., you and I) install a beta and the bugs
you report get fixed. :)
