I did not try it, but I don't expect any problems. Solaris 10 U4 and
newer ship PostgreSQL 8.2. Only what you need to know is that S10 uses
SMF instead of init scripts. You need to run:

svcadm enable postgresql:version_82

more man postgres_82.
