[GENERAL] Interval representation?

Hi guys -

This is today's CVS:

db=> select 1::interval;
ERROR:  Bad interval external representation '1'

And this is 7.0.3:

db=> select 1::interval;
 ?column?
----------
 00:00:01
(1 row)

Am I missing something?
