[GENERAL] md5 function

Hello,

Sorry for just stupid question, but I need use md5 function in 7.4
When I write:
select md5('text');
ERROR:  Function md5("unknown") does not exist
        Unable to identify a function that satisfies the given argument types
        You may need to add explicit typecasts

where is problem???
