To clarify, I don't think we should bother about the precision part. "Equals" in the example above means "equal within UUIDv7 precision", same for "more" and "less". However, years 2977 BC and 5943 AC are clearly not equal, thus 2977 BC should be rejected as an invalid value for UUIDv7. -- Best regards, Aleksander Alekseev
