Hi all,

On November 2nd I'll deploy a new version of the commitfest app, with these
user-visible changes:

1. The Comment/Review form is removed. It sent email using your own address,
which got silently dropped for domains with a strict DMARC policy, and
was causing problems for our sysadmins. The new "Review" button explains
how to reply from your own email client instead, using "Resend email" in
   the archives if needed.
2. Patches tagged "Bugfix" are now always moved to the next commitfest when
a commitfest closes. (thanks Shihao Zhong)
3. "Attach thread" now also searches pgsql-bugs. (thanks Shihao Zhong)
4. The Committer column on the commitfest page is now sortable. (thanks
   Jonas Rocha)
5. There's a calendar feed of all commitfests at
   https://commitfest.postgresql.org/commitfests.ics (thanks Tristan Partin)
6. Marking a patch as committed now also works when it was already closed,
   e.g. as "Returned with feedback".
7. Links to the commitfest app now show a proper preview when shared on
   Slack, Discord, etc.
8. Buttons that modify a patch now use POST requests, so web crawlers no
   longer follow them.
9. A few API additions: GET /api/v1/commitfests, and threads/enterdate/
leavedate on the per-commitfest patches endpoint. (thanks Kevin Rocker)

As always, you can see the changes live here:

https://commitfest-test.postgresql.org/ (username and password are "pgtest")

Feedback and bug reports are welcome, either as a reply to this email or at
https://github.com/postgres/pgcommitfest/issues

Jelte
