Ugh.  My system has been sitting here for four hours trying to create
the first GIN index.  I think I'm going to have to give up.

My settings (only relevant) on my desktop ( 8Gb RAM, Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU 
    E6750  @ 2.66GHz
