I m interested on similar things but I m too new to PostgreSQL to give any hint .
My first approach is to compile with a different compiler to get a idea of the system.

TIP 2: you can get off all lists at once with the unregister command
(send "unregister YourEmailAddressHere" to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
