I had trouble compiling postgressrc/pgsql/src/interfaces/ecpg/ecpglib and compiling pgsql/src/interfaces/ecpg/compatlib.

Reason was I had asked during configure to include krb5 support. After adding the -lkrb5 flag to the Makefile in these subdirectories, everyting went fine.

My configure options:

export JAVA_HOME=/usr
export PATH=/usr/local/bin:$PATH:/Developer/Java/J2EE/apache-ant-1.5.3/bin

./configure --bindir=/usr/local/bin --mandir=/usr/local/share/man/ --enable-recode --enable-odbc --enable-syslog --enable-unicode-conversion --enable-multibyte --with-CXX --enable-python --with-java --with-krb5=/usr --with-rendezvous --with-openssl=/usr/include/openssl
