I guess it could be. I guess: 1) I don't know how to do one of those ;-) Which is why I didn't even think it. 2) Won't that clutter up the namespace more, by introducing more keywords that you can't use for other things? 3) Will it still be possible to do the kind of things Rod mentioned, e.g. SELECT pg_kill_backend(procpid, 'TERM') FROM pg_stat_activity WHERE current_query LIKE '<IDLE>%'; ? //Magnus ---------------------------(end of broadcast)--------------------------- TIP 7: don't forget to increase your free space map settings
