Hmm. That looks like trying to load an assert-enabled plpgsql.so into a *not* assert-enabled backend. No, but Bruce has been fooling with the configure logic for threads, IIRC, so it's quite possible that we are now supplying a different set of compile or link switches, or a different set of libraries requested in the link.
