CoreReader is a free download at http://corereader.com It does point and click queries. It runs from a windows front end, but is designed to connect to any data source on any computer. It has run against mainframes, spreadsheets, mysql, paradox, etc., but nobody has reported a Postgrsql connection, and I have not had time.
