Why do you want to do this? You can define the order of the fields in the SELECT-Statement. Other way: you can create a VIEW. And another way: you can recreate the table (create new_table as select <cols in desired order> from old_table, drop old_table, rename new_tabel to old_table) Andreas -- Andreas Kretschmer Kontakt: Heynitz: 035242/47150, D1: 0160/7141639 (mehr: -> Header) GnuPG-ID: 0x3FFF606C, privat 0x7F4584DA http://wwwkeys.de.pgp.net ---------------------------(end of broadcast)--------------------------- TIP 4: Have you searched our list archives? http://archives.postgresql.org
